Take your beach theme to the next notch by making your students feel like they are chilling at the beach in Adirondack chairs under an umbrella.
For a calm coastal theme add pretty ocean blues and sandy tan tones. You can incorporate shells, sand and Sealife like fish and turtles.
One of the most popular themes this year is the composition notebook theme. I got inspired and created a cute classroom decor bundle with this theme that includes everything you need for your classroom. If you want to transform your classroom into this theme you can check out the composition notebook bundle here.
Bring your zoo theme to life with a play zoo set that younger students would enjoy as they are learning about new animals.

I am also loving a simple but pretty pastel theme. I created a printable, editable decor bundle for this theme too. You can find the complete pastel bundle package in my Etsy shop here.
The retro look has been everywhere lately from our clothes, home décor and even our classrooms. I’ve been seeing a lot of teachers jumping on this trend and finding creative ways to add a 70’s vibe to their classroom.
If you love this style too then check out some ideas to incorporate it into your classroom.
One of the funniest parts of a retro theme is choosing the colors to work with. You can choose to use soft colors like Melanie from School Girl Style did here or a bolder color scheme would work great too.
All of the little details and fun decorations help bring this theme to life like the tassel garland, and the classroom door that’s on point and on theme.
Adding bar stools is an easy way to add another flexible seating option to your classroom. I love how the bar stools even fit in with the color scheme of the class. The retro posters with positive saying are one of my favorite parts of this room.
