The most common use of a teacher cart is for supply organization. This is helpful with supplies just for you or supplies for the students because you can quickly wheel the cart around to where you will need them.

Another great purpose for your teacher rolling cart is to organize all the papers. This works especially well with the tall carts with individual drawers. Of course, you have to label what is inside too.

A teacher rolling cart is a great place to place activities that students can do on their own. That way when they have free time or are done with their work early, they can help themselves to what’s in the cart. Then they can roll it back to where it belongs when they're finished.

I love the idea of creating a guided reading cart. You can organize books by reading level and your students can help themselves to their books when its reading time.

Another great organization idea is to organize your cart by subject area. It's especially useful to add your subjects with a lot of handouts, books or supplies. Then when it is time for that subject just wheel it on out and you're good to go.
