I'll start with the command center. A lot of people like to put the command center in the front entryway, garage or in the mud room. The great thing is you don’t need a lot of space.
If you have kids in school, you know how hard it is to keep all the school papers organized. A great command center will not only help you with that but can also keep your whole family organized every week.
Things to include in your command center include hooks, baskets or file folders for papers, a place to hold mail, a white board and a calendar. Check out my favorite command centers below to get inspired to create your own.

The next month they can wipe clean and start again. The hanging storage pictured here has a place for pens, paper, markers, expenses, receipts and misc.

If you're wondering how to take a basic entry and create your custom command center take a cue from Brittany from Georgia. She started with a plain wall and then painted the bottom portion white and then installed the horizontal 1” x 4” with screws in the studs and installed these hooks on it.
Then she also installed the vertical strips. Now she has a custom command center with two hooks for each of her daughters.

How about that linen closet? Does yours look like the ones below or is it more like a catch-all mess where all the things end up? (arm up here for the latter)

Then, I hit up Amazon and picked out several matching baskets. When they arrived, I took everything out of the closet and created a spot with a label for every single item that stayed.
This's the perfect time to purge the things that you no longer need and donate them to a charity like Goodwill or Salvation Army.
