I put this idea first because it is the easiest, cheapest and it is the most important, in my opinion. A welcoming sign says so much about you as the homeowner to your visitors. I like to find one that portrays a welcoming and loving message to my friends and family. Below are my favorite front entries with beautiful welcoming signs.

So, if you put a table by your front door it tends to get cluttered with all the stuff, right? I mean keys, purses, backpacks, dog leashes, groceries and whatever else. With three kids and a dog we are guilty of this at my house as well. A great way to avoid this mess is to purposely style your entry table so there is no room for all the clutter.
There is an art to this. Start with two tall objects at both ends of the table, lamps or vases work great. Then in the middle you can place smaller decorative items such as candles, small containers, books or a pretty bowl to hold your keys.
If your entry table has a lower shelf take advantage of this by adding decorative baskets for storage. My secret to this is I when my friend texts that she is on her way and I need to quickly clean up the living room I throw all the kids’ stuff in the baskets and then cover them with a throw blanket. Voila, it looks like I have my stuff together. Good tip, I know you can use that!

How do you choose the right bench for your entry? Well it just depends on your style. If you are loving the farmhouse style you can opt for a weathered bench, if you love country style try a white wooden bench. Is modern your style? Then try a bench with sleek lines. If you have a lot of stuff, (arm up) find one with storage.
Below are my absolute favorite entry benches that suit any style.
